Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (cabinet.gov.krd) - On the sidelines of Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, SPIEF, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and his accompanying delegation met Mr. Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of Gazprom Neft.

Mr. Alexander Dyukov expressed his satisfaction with the progress of Grasprom Naft activities in the Kurdistan Region, expressing his wish to further broaden the company’s work in future.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed his appreciation for Gazprom Neft, which did not stop its operations in the Kurdistan Region during the period when the Region went under terrorist aggression, by the Islamic State terrorist group.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed Kurdistan Regional Government’s willingness for further cooperation with Gazprom Neft to expand its work and activities in various sectors in the Kurdistan Region.
